Welcome to Dutch 4 Beginners. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the terms below. We’ve written them in plain English (no legal gymnastics), but they are still legally binding — so please give them a quick read.

How Our Shop Works (Print-on-Demand)

Every item you order is made especially for you once you place your order. That means:

• We don’t hold big piles of stock.

• Your item goes into production shortly after purchase.

• We reduce waste by only printing what’s needed.

Because of this:

• Orders usually can’t be changed or cancelled once production has started.

• Slight colour differences may occur due to screen settings and printing processes.

• Print placement may vary slightly (but we promise it still looks fabulous).

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, sizing guides and images are accurate.

Orders & Contract Formation

When you place an order:

1. You’ll receive a confirmation email (this just confirms we got it).

2. The contract between us is formed when your item is dispatched.

We may cancel an order if:

• There’s a pricing error

• The item becomes unavailable

• We suspect fraudulent activity

If we cancel after payment, you’ll receive a full refund.

Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise. Our website offers a GBP to Euro conversion facility, however the final price will be in British Pounds only.

• Dutch 4 Beginners is not currently VAT registered. No VAT is charged on orders.

• Delivery costs are shown at checkout.

• Full payment must be received before production begins.

We use secure third-party payment providers and do not store card details. The following payment methods are accepted on our website: Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Klarna, Discover & Google Pay. Cash and Pay after Delivery payment options are not available.

Delivery

Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout, but aren’t guaranteed as these are out of our control. (Couriers sometimes have their own ideas) We’re not responsible for delays caused by:

• Postal or courier services

• Customs (for international orders)

• Incorrect addresses entered at checkout

Once your order is delivered, responsibility passes to you.

Your Right to Cancel

Under UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), customers usually have a 14-day cooling-off period for most online purchases.

However, this right does not apply to personalised or made-to-order goods.

Because many of our products are made to order and produced specifically following your purchase, statutory cancellation rights may not apply once production has commenced, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

If you wish to cancel, you must contact us immediately after ordering. If production has not yet started, we may be able to cancel and refund your order.

This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty or mis-described.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to goods that are:

• As described

• Of satisfactory quality

• Fit for purpose

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

• Contact us within 14 days of delivery.

• Provide photographs and your order number.

• We will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

We may ask for the item to be returned to us before issuing a refund or replacement. We promise to make it right!

Returns (Non-Faulty Items)

Because many of our products are made to order, we generally cannot accept returns for non-faulty products that have been manufactured specifically following your order.

We cannot normally offer refunds or exchanges where:

• You change your mind after production has started

• You ordered the wrong size

• Minor colour variations occur due to screen settings or the printing process

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Intellectual Property

All artwork, illustrations, product designs, text, branding and other content on this Website are the intellectual property of Dutch 4 Beginners or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute our designs without written permission.

AI-GENERATED IMAGES AND PRODUCT MOCK-UPS

Some product images may include AI-generated or digitally created lifestyle mock-ups for illustrative purposes. Such images may depict people or environments that do not exist in real life. Please refer to our Website Disclaimer for further information.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

• Any matter that cannot legally be excluded under UK law

Subject to the above, we are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Loss of profit or business interruption

• Delays beyond our reasonable control

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Supply chain disruptions

• Industrial action

• Natural disasters

• Government restrictions

Governing Law

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, these Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights available under the laws of the customer's country of residence.
