ONLINE DUTCH 4 BEGINNERS CLASS (A0)

Dutch 4 Beginners is starting a new Dutch beginners class on:

Wednesday 25th of March at 16.45

Thursday 16th of April at 18.00

Classes will take place weekly on the same day and time for a total of 20 sessions over 20 consecutive weeks. This course is designed for people who;

  • Are complete beginners to the Dutch language

  • Enjoy the interaction with other students

  • Do not have enough discipline to do self-study

Your Dutch classroom will have between 4 minimum to 8 students max and will be conducted via Google Meet. If by the above date, the minimum number has not been reached, it may be delayed until enough people have expressed interest.

HOE? HOW?

You will learn Dutch in a virtual classroom with an experienced Dutch teacher. Classes are conducted via Google Meet, so all you need is an internet browser — no additional software required.

To participate, you’ll need:

  • A stable internet connection

  • A microphone

  • A camera

For the best learning experience, we ask that all students keep their camera and microphone on during class.

Lesson materials will be provided before each class. You can print them if you like, or simply use the digital version.

All lessons are recorded, allowing you to catch up on anything you missed or to re-watch a lesson. Recordings are stored in your dedicated student portal, which also contains other helpful resources and links.

During these Dutch 4 Beginners classes, you will:

Yes — you’ll receive weekly homework exercises! To keep up with the group, it’s important to set aside some extra time each week to complete your Dutch homework.

During the first 20 lessons, we’ll cover the following topics:

  • The Dutch alphabet and sounds

  • Dutch syllables and how they help you pronounce words correctly

  • Greetings and how to introduce yourself

  • Numbers, time, and dates

  • Useful phrases for making appointments

  • Plurals in Dutch

  • Core grammar rules

  • Vocabulary and phrases for around the house

  • Dutch nouns and articles

  • Demonstrative pronouns

  • Food-related vocabulary and expressions

Throughout the course, you’ll also practise your skills through a variety of listening, reading, vocabulary, and interactive exercises — helping you build confidence step by step.
